Bear Run Campground sits nestled near the shore of this gorgeous lake, and whether you're camping with us or just coming for a day visit, our canoe and kayak rentals are a great way to get out and explore the shoreline on warm summer day. There's also easy access to a quiet boat launch, and premier fishing for anglers of all skill levels!
CANOE & KAYAK RENTALS
Paddling out on Lake Arthur is the perfect use of a morning or afternoon at Bear Run Campground. Whether you're staying at the park with us or coming as a day visitor, our canoe and kayak rentals are available for you to enjoy the water without having to bring your own boat. Simply check in with the office for rental information, and then we'll shuttle you down to our boat launch area!
BOAT LAUNCH
Enjoy the convenience of the boat launch just down the road from Bear Run HQ. For putting in to Lake Arthur, this spacious, well-graded boat launch with a convenient dock is perfect for easily setting out for a day on the lake and then packing up back on shore when the cruise is over.
FISHING
Lake Arthur boasts a legendary fishing experience in Western Pennsylvania. Muskie, bass, bluegill, walleye, and other species are found in abundance below the surface of the waters. With plentiful honey holes and easy access from Bear Run Campground, Lake Arthur is a destination that fishers of all skills levels will want to enjoy!

If you book a six-night stay at an RV or tent site during any part of the camping season, we’ll give you a seventh night completely free. That’s our way of making sure you have enough time to relax and explore everything there is to do near Lake Arthur!
