All sites (campsites and rental units) check-in at 4:00 PM. Check-out for rental units is 1:00 PM, and check-out for campsites is 2:00 PM.
For Campsite/Cabin cancellations:
Our cancellation policy depends on how far in advance you notify us of your cancellation.
You sure can! We love seeing your furry family members at Bear Run Campground. We even have some pet-friendly rental units available if that’s how you choose to stay with us.
There is a limit of 2 pets per site, and all pets must have current rabies paperwork presentable at time of check-in. Please note that some breed restrictions exist: Pitbull, Rottweiler, Akita, Wolf Hybrids, or any mix of these breeds.
Yes, campfires are permitted within the fire rings. You’re welcome to bring your own firewood, however it is illegal to bring firewood over state lines. For your convenience, firewood is also available for purchase at our store.
Through our online booking system, you can choose the site you wish to stay on during your camping vacation with us and purchase it immediately through our online checkout. If you have any special requests with your site, you can call us at the office (724-368-3564) and we will do our best to accommodate your request.
Yes you can! Visitors are allowed to visit your site during the day only and are limited to (2) per site. All visitors must exit the park by 10:00pm. There is a $10 visitor fee per person, per day. Visitors must register in the office upon arrival.
A site lock fee guarantees that you receive the site you reserve. In some cases, we rearrange sites to ensure placement for all our guests. If your site is switched, it will be to the most comparable site to the one you reserved.
Unfortunately no. We do not allow guests to use golf carts within the campground under any circumstances.
Guests are required to notify the office if they are expecting to check in after the office closes. We will do our best to accommodate late check-ins, but these are not always guaranteed.
Yes, we have single and double kayaks along with several canoes. These can be reserved at the office during or before your stay.
You must be 21 years of age to make a reservation.
If you book a six-night stay at an RV or tent site during any part of the camping season, we’ll give you a seventh night completely free. That’s our way of making sure you have enough time to relax and explore everything there is to do near Lake Arthur!
