For backyard playgrounds, it's tough to beat the beauty of Lake Arthur. Bear Run Campground sits nestled near the shore of this gorgeous lake, and whether you're camping with us or just coming for a day visit, our canoe and kayak rentals are a great way to get out and explore the shoreline on warm summer day. There's also easy access to a quiet boat launch, and premier fishing for anglers of all skill levels!

Enjoy the convenience of renting right from Bear Run’s front desk! At Porters Cove Launch, just 900 yards from the campground entrance, you can begin your self-guided tour of Lake Arthur.

Covered Basketball Court

Grab the rock and let’s get our hoops on, rain or shine, at our covered basketball pavilion! It's the perfect place for ballers of all skill levels to get their game and and drop some buckets!

Arcade & Pool Table

Enjoy a variety of indoor games and chalk up the cues for an always riveting game of pool on our Bear Run billiards table!

Hiking Trails

There's so much natural beauty at and around the campground, and our hiking trails that connect to Moraine State Park are the perfect way to experience the sights and sounds of the beautiful great outdoors.

Have you tried GaGa Ball yet? This fast-paced and family-friendly game is booming in popularity, and once you hop into the ring to play your first match, you'll see why!

Climb, hang, swing... our awesome playground is the stage where imagination comes to life and friends are made for years to come!

Boating

Direct access to Lake Arthur offers a tremendous experience on the water for kayaks, canoes, stand up paddle boards, outboard motors, sailing and more! There is a 20 HP limit.

Communal Fireplace

At the end of a long day of memory-making, the communal fireplace is where we gather to share, reminisce, laugh, and enjoy the company of fellow campers in a beautiful location.

Party Area

Whether we're hosting a Bingo event or you're renting the space for a party, this pavilion is the perfect place to come celebrate being together in the great Western PA outdoors.

Without question a staple of a camping vacation, this outdoor favorite is always the scene of fun, competition, and great memories made in the outdoors.

Bird Watching

For our guests who love bird watching, Bear Run Campground offers a variety of beautiful bird species. Take in sightings of herons, osprey, an occasional Bald Eagle and many more!
