Climb, crawl, hang, swing... a great playground is the stage where imagination comes to life and friends are made for years to come. Our Bear Run playground is no different!

Whether you're dropping a line in the Spring in our trout-stocked fishing pond or venturing out to nearby Lake Arthur, anglers of all levels will hook whatever they're looking for!

Direct access to Lake Arthur offers a tremendous experience on the water for kayaks, canoes, stand up paddle boards, outboard motors, sailing and more! There is a 20 HP limit.

Enjoy the convenience of renting right from Bear Run’s front desk! At Porters Cove Launch, just 900 yards from the campground entrance, you can begin your self-guided tour of Lake Arthur. You will be completely outfitted with a lifejacket, paddles, and a whistle. Rentals are ½ day in duration and boat transporting is not required.

At the end of a long day of memory-making, the communal fireplace is where we gather to share, reminisce, laugh, and enjoy the company of fellow campers in a beautiful location.

You gotta bring it when you're on the Bear Run volleyball court! Friendly competition is always welcome here when we step out onto the court together!

Grab the rock and let’s get our hoops on, rain or shine, at our covered basketball pavilion! It's the perfect place for ballers of all skill levels to get their game and and drop some buckets!

Enjoy a variety of indoor games and chalk up the cues for an always riveting game of pool on our Bear Run billiards table!

Without question a staple of a camping vacation, this outdoor favorite is always the scene of fun, competition, and great memories made in the outdoors.

There's so much natural beauty at and around the campground for our guests... and the nature walk is a fantastic way to experience the sights and sounds of breathtaking Butler County.

For our guests who love bird watching, Bear Run Campground offers a variety of beautiful bird species that are a joy to observe in the beauty of the great outdoors. Take in sightings of herons, osprey, an occasional Bald Eagle and many more!
